Why do you need a Valve Spacer?
A valve spacer provides an enlarged working zone in front of the stub flange face. This allows the valve disk or flaps to move freely without hitting the pipe wall or flange face.
To check if you need one, simply compare the ID (Internal Diameter) of your selected pipe against the valve ID. If the pipe ID is smaller, the valve disc may catch. Installing a butt weld Valve Spacer on each side provides both a solution and insurance against costly valve failure.
Our spacers maintain the full integrity and pressure rating of your pipeline, valve, and flange set. Stock Sizes are available in 2” (50mm NB) to 24” (600mm NB). Pressure Ratings: PN10 and PN16 available in stock. Made of 100% Virgin PE100 Resin for superior abrasion and corrosion resistance.
