PE to Galv Rolled Grooved Transition Risers

Polyethylene-to-steel joints are many times stronger than the PE pipes they attach to. Our tested design eliminates human error in the steel to poly pipe connection by providing a tamper-proof, gas-tight, ASTM D2513 Category 1 mechanical joint. The steel Victaulic coupling transition fitting joint is resistant to pull out and exceeds the hydrostatic burst pressure and tensile strength of the polyethylene pipe. They are also designed to exceed ASTM F1973 specifications. A transition galvanised rolled grooved riser can also be called a long spigot adaptor, Poly to roll groove adaptor, or a transition adaptor, and eliminates the need for another set of coupling flanges. The PE to galvanised rolled grooved riser is available in SDR11 PN16, in two standard sizes of 125mm and 180mm. Additional sizes 50inch x 225inch x 8 inch are available on request.
