Programming and Data Logging
Weld programming can be done manually or via the Bluetooth barcode scanner, which reads any known electrofusion fitting within the 8–48 volt range. Every weld is logged automatically, with onboard memory storing up to 2,000 weld records for QA and compliance documentation.
Fitting Instructions
- Prepare the pipe: clean and scrape the fusion zone to remove oxidation and contaminants.
- Clamp and align the pipe ends inside the EF fitting.
- Connect the welding leads to the fitting terminals.
- Scan the fitting barcode or enter weld parameters manually.
- Run the weld cycle and allow the joint to cool for the specified time before handling.
Full welding parameters should always follow AS/NZS 4130 and manufacturer fitting instructions.
