Perform safe, live tapping of fully pressurised water and gas mains with these Tapping Saddles. Also known as an Electrofusion Tapping Tee, this fitting makes under-pressure connections easy, secure, and contaminant-free.

Why choose our Tapping Saddles 32mm?

Designed for critical infrastructure, each saddle features a built-in stainless-steel cutting device. Once the saddle is fused to the pipe using the integrated resistance heating element, the cutter is wound down to cut a clean, swarf-free core through the pipe wall. Crucially, the device permanently captures the coring plug, preventing debris from entering the pipeline.

The cutter works as a temporary valve until fully wound back, allowing for leak-free tapping and is supplied with a tamper-proof sealing cap to complete the installation. Suitable for both above and below-ground installations on water and gas lines. Homogeneously bonds to PE100 pipe for a permanent joint.

Each saddle includes a clamp for fastening before fusion. The welding process is controlled by standard electrofusion welders, which power the moulded element to melt both surfaces.
